Is Paper Mario heading to the Virtual Console?

 

Could it be true? Could Paper Mario be headed to the virtual console? Well, that’s what one magazine seems to state, though we’re not entirely sure.

A new post on Go Nintendo has a scan from an unnamed magazine on it, with Paper Mario serving as the “Staff Pick” for the month. “In the hands of developer Intelligent Systems,” the magazine writes, “the standard Bowser-kidnaps-Peach storyline came to life with engaging dialogue, surprising characters, and addictive gameplay.”

We’re not sure if its confirmed or if its just a suggested title that one magazine wants to see on the virtual console. So far, the ESRB still says Paper Mario is for the Nintendo 64, so we’re going to have to put this in the rumor bin for now. Still, you can certainly say we share their sentiments for the game though.
