Is Project Offset Heading to the Xbox 360?
We’re not quite sure if that’s the case, but the job openings at the Project Offset website seem to indicate it.
If you check their jobs page, you can clearly note their ad for an XBox 360 Programmer:
Primary responsibility will be to handle porting, maintaining, and optimizing the codebase for the Xbox 360. Experience developing for the Xbox 360 is a huge plus. Experience programming for console platforms is required.
It’s been in development for quite some time now, and while it’s hard to believe that an MMORPG/FPS from a developer that hasn’t released its game yet will hit both the PC and XBox 360 market without even a playable demo to its name (and, in fact, still uses a tentative name for its game), it’s always good to hope for the best. A good surprise would be welcome in this world of gaming today.
So, anyone want to sign up for their programming job?
