Is Star Wars: Legends LucasArts’ new Star Wars game?

Quick question: how many of you were hoping that the Star Wars game that’s supposed to be announced during the Spike VGAs would be a new X-Wing or TIE Fighter title? Another Battlefront maybe? Well, it may not be either of those. It could be something called Star Wars: Legends.

Star Wars: Legends is a game that was recently spotted by gaming blog Kotaku on both the Australian OFLC listings and the USPTO website. The OFLC listing has LucasArts down as the developer while Activision is supposedly handling publishing duties.

The only other thing we know about the game is that it currently has a Mature rating on the OFLC site for “fantasy violence”. There’s also a LucasArts-owned website — starwarslegends.com — but nothing’s there yet. Guess we’ll have to wait for the VGAs to see if this is the new Star Wars game or not.
