It’s official: Sony’s big sequel is SOCOM 4

Apparently Sony’s big sequel isn’t for the Killzone, MotorStorm, or inFamous games. It’s SOCOM 4.

 

 

 

 

Apparently Sony’s big sequel isn’t for the Killzone, MotorStorm, or inFamous games. It’s SOCOM 4 and it’s coming to PS3 this fall.

 

Developer Zipper Interactive is back, and in fact they were the ones who made the announcement. That begs the question of what’ll happen to MAG, but according to Zipper they’re still fully committed to supporting it.

 

Unlike Slant Six’s SOCOM: Confrontation, SOCOM 4 will have a dedicated 14-mission single-player campaign in addition to a 32-person multiplayer mode. More at the source.
