The biggest one is that by April, they’ll be offering songs at three price points, 69 cents, 99 cents, and US$ 1.29 – though most albums will still be priced at US$ 9.99.

Another change is that Apple will be offering eight of the 10 million songs in their library to the iTunes Plus format. That is, it’ll be DRM-free, and at 256 kbps. the other two million will be available by March.

You can upgrade tracks you already purchased to the iTunes Plus format for a 30 cent fee per song, or 30% of the album price.

Lastly, the iPhone will now be able to download songs via 3G, instead of relying on WiFi. This service is already effective.
