Iwata: Nintendo working on 100+ games for Wii and DS

If you think Nintendo’s just sitting on their laurels after the success of both the Nintendo DS and the Wii, think again. In a recent Famitsu.com piece, Nintendo president Satoru Iwata has revealed that the company currently has more than a hundred titles slated for both the DS and the Wii.

According to Iwata, there are currently 45 Wii titles in development at Nintendo, while a whopping 79 titles are being developed for their DS handheld console. And keep in mind, those numbers are for first-party titles alone. Here’s the Google-translated Iwata quote from Famitsu.com:
