Jade Empire To Be Released For PC As Special Edition

jadeempire

The great demand for a PC version of Jade Empire, which was previously released exclusively for the Xbox, is perhaps one of the reasons why developers Take-Two Interactive teamed up with Bioware to create Jade Empire: Special Edition. It has been announced that this game would be made available for the PC by January of 2007.

More features have also been incorporated into the PC edition. We’re happy to see more features incorporated in this massive, award-winning RPG, some of which include:

  • increased graphic resolutions with new visual effects and fighting styles
  • more AI-enhanced enemies
  • customizable, intuitive controls
  • an all-new art book which is included as bonus content

Jade Empire is set in an ancient, mysterious world where players face powerful human and supernatural foes, and players are able to learn exotic and magical martial arts. In this game, players become noble heroes or nasty villains when they choose the path of either the Open Palm or the Closed Fist.
