Jade Raymond talks art direction behind Assassin’s Creed

One of the most artistic games coming to next-gen consoles is Ubisoft Montreal’s Assassin’s Creed (PC, Xbox 360, PS3), no doubt. We last heard Jade Raymond talking about how they’re trying hard to deliver the best experience with video games being “an art form and an entertainment form” in mind.

For the unconvinced, here’s more of Jade as she walks us through the art direction of Assassin’s Creed. She tells us about the massive scope of the game’s huge kingdom with three cities to play in, the immersive environment filled with 300 different characters from all walks of life, and other cool stuff about Altair – the bird of prey.

Nobody does it better than Jade (in her new look, no less), so here’s the video.
