Japan: hardware sales for week of December 9
The Wii and the Nintendo DS once more dominate hardware charts in Japan, according to the numbers from Media Create, matching their reign of the region’s software sales. On the top spot for the week of December 3 to December 9 is still the Nintendo DS with 168,000 units sold, 40,000 more than the previous week.
The Wii has also done incredibly better than the previous week, where it only sold 74,500. The PlayStation 3 improved only a little as it sold only 37,000 last week.
The Xbox 360 still remains at last place and didn’t improve much either, with only a 2,000 unit increase in sales from last week. Here are the figures:
