Japan to get 80 GB PS3 bundles: Gran Turismo 5 Prologue Spec III, LittleBigPlanet
One of Sony‘s big announcements at the Tokyo Game Show found its way out to the public before it was actually announced, thanks to Famitsu. According to the mag, Japan‘s getting two new 80 GB bundles: one with LittleBigPlanet, and another with Gran Turismo 5 Prologue Spec III. I should just move to Japan already.
All of which will be offered in black, white, and silver flavors.
It’s a one-two punch for those who don’t live in the region. I should just move to Japan already.
Anyhoo, the GT5 Prologue Spec III bundle will come bundled with a Dual Shock 3 and will cost JPÂ¥ 39,800 (US$ 399). The game practically comes for free, as the Blu-ray disc sells for JPÂ¥ 4,980 (US$ 50), and the downloadable goes for JPÂ¥ 4,500 (US$ 45).
The LittleBigPlanet bundle will come with a copy of the game, a special box featuring Sackboy artwork and two Dual Shock controllers. It’ll cost JPÂ¥ 44,980 (US$ 452). They’ll also be offering a DualShock 3 bundle with the game, which will go for JPÂ¥ 7,980 (US$ 80).
Aside from the bundles (yes, there’s more), those who buy first-print copies of LittleBigPlanet will get a bonus item: a code that will unlock a Piposaru Sackboy costume (the brainwashed monkey from ApeEscape).
