Japanese PlayStation Store to get Puyo Tama and Star Strike HD
It looks like Japanese gamers have something else to look forward to, courtesy of the PlayStation Network. It seems that two new games, Puyo Tama and Star Strike HD, have been slated for release on the PlayStation Store within the month, ensuring that PS3 fans get some additional quality time with their console.
Puyo Tama is a cutesy take on the block puzzle genre. In Puyo Tama, your job is make Mama Puyo’s eggs hatch as soon as possible. To do that, you’ve got to match similarly colored eggs to make the birdies hatch.
Star Strike HD is perhaps better known elsewhere by the name Super Stardust. In the Japanese version of the game, players must venture off into space in their trusty spaceship, blasting away the forces of the nefarious Professor Penguin, who wants to rule not just a world, but the entire solar system.
The two games are priced at JPY 800, with Puyo Tama set for release on June 22 and Star Strike HD on June 29.
