Japanese Virtual Console starts the New Year with a bang
Japanese gamers are set to start the New Year with a bang, now that they’ll have a bunch of good classic gaming coming their way via the Wii’s Virtual Console. From Yie Ar Kung Fu to Super R-TYPE, classic gaming couldn’t be even sweeter.
Wii gamers in Japan are in for a treat this January, now that they have a bunch of good classic gaming tidbits coming their way in the first month of 2008. With titles ranging from the NES fighting game Yie Ar Kung Fu, Namco’s adorable police mouse Mappy, and great side-scrolling shooter Super R-TYPE, the New Year will definitely start with a bang for Wii gamers living in Japan.
Some of Sega‘s gaming highlights have made it into the list, such as Phantasy Star II and the Japan-exclusive Monster World IV, both from the Mega Drive console. For other games, just check out the complete list below!
