Jason Rubin Working on “Iron And The Maiden”

Naughty Dog co-founder and former employee Jason Rubin has let it be known (via his My Space page of all places!) that he is currently working on a project called “Iron and The Maiden”. No details were given of the project except that Rubin left a message saying:

After 20 years at Naughty Dog I’ve decided to try something new. “Iron and the Maiden” will be my first solo project. It isn’t “Crash Bandicoot”, and it isn’t “Jak and Daxter”. This is something new. Raw, Uncensored, Uncut. It’s been in the back of my head for years looking to get out, and I’ve assembled an incredible team to bring it to fruition.

Stay Tuned…

It’s definitely great to know that Rubin still plans on working in the videogame industry (if this is a game that is) as he seemed to completely drop off the radar after leaving Naughty Dog upon the completion of Jak 3. No news yet on what platforms will be supported, gameplay types or much of anything except the art pictured below. (Considering Rubin’s comments and the logo art one might assume there’d be shooting, profanity and or some sex). Hopefully we’ll get more news soon.
