Jetfighter 0.4b – space shooter for two players

Nintendo DS homebrew coder Cid2Mizard (who also did DadaS Horse Racing) is busy with the Jetfighter project.

It’s now on version 0.4b, with a couple of improvements from the previous version. The biggest new thing right now is that it’s recoded in Palib.

Nintendo DS coder Cid2Mizard (who also did DadaS Horse Racing) is busy with the Jetfighter project. It’s now on version 0.4b, with a couple of improvements from the previous version. The biggest new thing right now is that it’s recoded in Palib. Here are a couple of other changes and improvements:

• Life gauge
• Score
• Collisions and explosions
• Launch only one laser at the same time

Two players can hack at the game at the same time: first player uses the D-pad to move and the L shoulder button to shoot, while the second player uses A, B, X, Y to move and R shoulder button to shoot.

The game is in French, but that shouldn’t be much of a problem. The menu is pretty simple to work through.
