Joymax introduces new Silkroad Online pets

People adopt pets in MMORPGs for a variety of reasons, be it for companionship, utility or a combination of both. Regardless of your reason for wanting a pet, though, Joymax is offering a variety of new animal companions in Silkroad Online, and one of them may just capture your fancy.

If you simply cannot get enough of the original pets that Joymax had earlier introduced in Silkroad Online, then you may be in for a treat: as of yesterday, Joymax has made several new pets available for purchase in the Silkroad Online item mall.

Joining the roster of Silkroad Online pets are the following animals: a bear, a beetle, a sylph and a buffalo. The appeal of these pets aren’t merely aesthetic in nature, though, as Silkroad Online players will be able to make use of their animal companions’ various abilities.

For example, the pet beetle serves as a speedy mount, while the sylph can retrieve items for players from the battlefield. While the bear basically aids players in attacking enemies, the buffalo is a beast of burden, useful for transporting heavy loads down the dangerous Silk Road.
