June EGM features Splatterhouse for next-gen consoles, boatload of game updates
After revealing 50 Cent: Blood in the Sand (Xbox 360, PS3) for its May issue, Electronic Gaming Monthly magazine’s upcoming June issue is revealing the next-gen resurrection of Splatterhouse. For the May issue of Electronic Gaming Monthly (EGM), we were treated to a cover featuring 50 Cent. As it turns out, the issue detailed the sequel 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand (Xbox 360, PS3). Now the upcoming June EGM issue will reveal to us the next-gen revival of the classic 1988 arcade game Splatterhouse.
Namco Bandai‘s Splatterhouse is considered a pioneer for the survival horror video game genre which spawned Resident Evil and Silent Hill. Now how would the beat ’em up nature of Splatterhouse translate to next-gen consoles? The EGM June issue will provide a first look.
