‘Just Cause’ coming to Xbox 360 this fall

Eidos has just revealed that their new game, Just Cause, will arrive for Xbox 360 this fall alongside versions for PS2, Xbox and PC.

The game puts players in the shoes of field operative Rico Rodriguez, who’s sent to San Esperito, a troubled Central American country, to resolve the situation.  Players will have the option of doing as they see fit – they may opt to build alliances with rebels and drug cartels, for instance, or incite a rebellion if they want to.

The ‘location’ itself is massive – Eidos claims it’ll take around 40 minutes for players to cross – and play is spread across hundreds of missions and is open-ended to boot, so it’s less likely to end up monotonous.  Players may choose from a wide variety of vehicles if they don’t want to have to walk.
