Justice League Heroes on PSP

Warner Bros. finally realized that Batman needs reinforcement, so they will bring in Justice League Heroes for the PSP, Xbox, and PS2 consoles. DC has generally only made use of its Batman license on consoles, and the results were not as good as gamers had hoped for.

Jason Hall, Senior Vice President of Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment said: “The game utilizes Snowblind’s innovative gameplay technologies and the respected story writing of Dwayne McDuffie to bring fans and gamers some of the best super hero battles in the universe. This is a real opportunity to bring the celebrated characters to life in dynamic gameplay, showcasing their individual powers and their incredible capabilities working as a team.”

This is perhaps DC’s response to Marvel’s X-Men Legends series, which was successful in creating upgradable characters. While JL fans are deliriously happy at the thought of playing as Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, The Flash, or Martian Manhunter, I am eagerly anticipating the appearance of the more obscure characters in the Justice League lineup.
