Kamehameha! Wii controls for Dragonball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 2

If there’s one reason to play a Dragon Ball Z game on Nintendo’s console, it’s definitely being able to act out your favorite character’s signature moves. Ever see a giant ball of energy being thrust from the heavens into your opponent’s face? That’s the kind of frenzied fun you get to try out in the Wii version of Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 2.

In this video, you get to see Atari‘s Product Manager, Emily Anadu, show you the basics of fighting and moving. From learning how to hover, to dash and to perform an even faster dash, she’ll also explain the basics of melee fighting, flying, and firing energy blasts. Akira Toriyama probably never expected to see someone actually doing stuff like this with his popular franchise, but you have to admit that it’s fun.

For the hardcore DBZ fans, you’ll also get a tutorial on charging up energy and performing signature moves. In this case, it’s Son Goku’s Kamehameha using motion-sensing control and literally throwing a ball of blue energy from the sky down to your opponent. It’s the same move Goku used on Freeza before learning the first level of Super Saiyan power and, in homage to that particular episode, they even made the scenery ravaged after using that special move.

In any case, enjoy the video and be sure to thank Sonicdudeuk for putting up the Game Trailer vid on YouTube.
