Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days dated, gets trailered

IO Interactive and Square Enix Europe (formerly Eidos) has finally announced the release date of the latest installment of the Kane & Lynch franchise, Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days. Along with the announcement, the devs has also released the first in-game footage of Dog Days titled ‘Welcome to Shanghai’. Take a peek at the trailer after the jump.

IO Interactive and Square Enix Europe (formerly Eidos) has finally announced the release date of the latest installment of the Kane & Lynch franchise, Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days. Along with the announcement, the devs has also released the first in-game footage of Dog Days titled ‘Welcome to Shanghai’. According to Niels Jørgensen, general manager of IO Interactive:

We believe the unique visuals and relentless gameplay has created an intensity never delivered in a videogame before. In a genre where so many games look and feel the same, Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days will make people double-take. We think it’s going to make quite an impression.

Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days will release on August 24, 2010 in North America and August 27 throughout Europe and other PAL territories. The game will be available on the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
