Eidos made the announcement that the Dog Days demo is now out for all platforms (PC, PS3 and Xbox 360). Said the press release:

 

 

 

“The response to the exclusive demo has been overwhelming,” said Niels Jørgensen, general manager of IO Interactive. “Everyone needs to try Kane & Lynch 2 as it’s clear that the unique visual style, gritty story and refreshing multiplayer modes are delivering a sense of tension and excitement not found in other games.”

 

 

 

The press release also made mention of the game shipping with SteamWorks. This implies, for PC gamers, that the PC version will be coming auto-updating, matchmaking, Steam Achievements, stats and leaderboards. Pre-order is also now available from Steam (just follow the source link below). It should get you a 10% discount too.

 

 

 

 

Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days comes out to retail on August 17 in North America, August 20 in Europe and August 26 in Japan.
