Keep The Action Hot But Keep Your Xbox 360 Cool

Your job as an Xbox 360 fan boy is to keep the gaming action at searing temperature.  But like most overused electronic devices, the Xbox 360 can ultimately succumbed to overheating. Although actual cases of system meltdown have yet to surface why take chances when there are cooling devices out there (for less than $20) designed to keep your console's mercury from rising and rising.  Here's a couple of cool companions you can get for your beloved console as a token of the hard work they do to keep you amused for hours (and who knows may be days) on end:

The Pelican Fan Stand (left)

The Pelican Fan Stand is a USB powered fan designed as an extended base for the Xbox 360. It is designed to draw cooler air from around the base of the Fan Stand and blow it through the vent holes at the bottom of the Xbox 360 case.  Aside from cooling it, the Pelican stand provides a convenient place for the Xbox 360 remote and a couple of games. It also adds stability to your console if keep it in the easy-to-topple upright condition.

Unlike the Pelican Stand, The Intercooler can be used whether the console is sitting in the upright or horizontal position. The Intercooler has an on/off switch but you can keep it "on" if you prefer it to automatically power up with your Xbox 360.
