Kenshin Dragon Quest: A Peek at Dragon Quest Swords?
The combination of Dragon Quest Swords: The Masked Queen and the Tower of Two Mirrors and Nintendo Wii’s wireless and motion-sensitive feature gets us as close to being a real-life swordsman in the 21st century. Square-Enix showed a short teaser at E3, but unfortunately it doesn’t contain any gameplay footage. But we can use Kenshin Dragon Quest, a motion-activated TV game that Square-Enix released in Japan back in 2004, to get an idea (no matter how vague) of what Dragon Quest might be like.
Although, bearing the Dragon Quest name, it is more of an arcade game than an RPG. You’d have to slice and dice through slimes and monsters, as well as deflecting spells cast by magicians.
And since four Wiimotes can be connected at once using wireless Bluetooth technology, can you just imagine all the slashing fun you’ll have?
