Keychron K10 Pro assessment: All-rounder and cheap console
Keychron K10 Pro review
The Keychron K10 Pro is a great choice for Apple users looking for a 100% layout at a price that won’t break the budget. Keychron offers mechanical keyboards of all sizes and prices. The K10 is a mid-range model between the C3 Pro, a budget model, and the Q5 Pro, a more expensive keyboard. The K10 is a great option for anyone who wants to customize their keyboard or simply type on something. The keyboard is easy to use and maintain, and you can play around with the key switches and macros. The K10 is designed with eight layers, starting with the sound-absorbing foam and keycaps. It also includes a durable plastic casing. The PBT keycaps have an oil-resistant coating that helps to reduce shine and increase durability. Keychron offers a variety of switches to suit your typing preference: Keychron Pro Red, Pro Brown and Pro Banana. The K10 is available in either all-white or black with red/navy keys. Hot-swappable switches and keys allow you to experiment with different looks. The K10 comes with an extra set of keycaps for Windows as well as a keycap/switch and Allen wrench for customizing. VIA is compatible with Chromium-based web browsers. Safari and Firefox users, however, can download the software here. VIA allows you to configure your keyboard in four layers. Layer 0-1 for Mac and layer 2-3 for Windows. Keychron K10 Pro review: The VIA overview for the keyboard. Keychron K10 Pro review: The VIA overview for the keyboard.Keychron K10 Pro – Specs

My Keychron K10 review unit came with K Pro Banana switches, which have more of a clicky sound than other switches but still provide a satisfying typing experience. The top of the switches are described as having a tactile texture that you can feel when pressing each key. The PBT keycaps keep the K10’s matte finish. The hot-swap function makes it easy to clean the entire keyboard. Pressing fn+1 or 2 or 3 will pair your devices and make typing easier. I would connect the cable directly to either my laptop or USB hub. The ability to switch between computers via Bluetooth is great, especially when you want to improve your iPad typing experience. Keychron K10 Pro Review: Wired Connection to a MacBook Pro. The battery lasts for a long time, with up 100 hours at the lowest RGB brightness. This claim is supported by my two-month testing experience. I kept the K10 on a desk, paired wirelessly. When it needed to be charged, I switched it back to a wired connection. As a 100% layout, I wouldn’t consider the K10 portable. I couldn’t fit in my backpack. It’s not bad if you are moving it from room to room. The three levels of adjustment are good for those who need ergonomic support. Keychron K10 Pro Review: Closeup of keys. Keychron K10 Pro Review – A good 100% keyboard for $100 I found the K10 to be a good all rounder keyboard, just like other Keychrons. Customization and durability are combined in a compact, durable body that can cover most of your desk requirements. The ability to customize your keyboard digitally and choose between different switches appeals to keyboard enthusiasts or anyone looking to optimize their keyboard for either work or play.
