Kid Tracking Phone
Say hello to a little Dolphin named Doku-iruka!
Doku-iruka is a child monitoring system being released in Japan that’s like a GPS. It uses Japan’s PHS telecom network to track your child’s location every 5 minutes and stores the locations on a server. The server can hold up to one week of location history, plus you can check the history online anytime and also have maps sent to your mobile phone.
There is a watch function that allows the parent to see if their child has arrived safely at his or her destination. As an extra feature there is also a strap the child can pull which sets off an alarm to notify people of an emergency. The battery is good for 24 hrs of continuous tracking before it has to be recharged again.
Its cost? A flat rate of 150 USD (unlimited use) a year.
