QJ resident commenter papajag would have probably tried to grab a go at this if only we heard this news sooner. Apparently, the Killzone 2 press kit did have a selling price: £ 400 or US$ 589, in fact. This was found out by the guys over at PS3 Center, while going through eBay.

As it turned out, the press kit originally hit the online store earlier this week, at first pegged at £ 250, or about US$ 400. But then as it was againts eBay’s Terms of Service to sell beta or preview software, it was taken down, either by the seller’s own initiative, or with a little forceful prodding from the store.
But then, Seller must have been very determined to make a quick buck out of his merchandise that the kit reappeared again a few hours later, although this time it was under a different name. And to bypass the standing rule of eBay on preview software, he went for the Buy It Now option and so was able to successfully unload the press kit before it could be reported. Which now brings us back to the US$ 589 selling price.
That’s a lot of moolah for a press kit, don’t you think? Anyhow, the guy who bought it probably wanted it for his collection. After all, there will be no Collector’s Edition for Killzone 2.
