Killzone public beta – confirmed

Good news Killzone fans! Seb Downie of Guerrilla Games has confirmed the public beta for Killzone 2 for the PlayStation 3. The news was announced at Guerrilla Games’ official forums with Downie under the handle motherH:

Of course there is going to be a public beta, I have always said that any game that has an online mode needs to go through a public beta to ensure it works as intended.

Hmm… The beta was already a given, but the confirmation just opened a can of worms and questions. When exactly will we be seeing Killzone 2‘s beta? Who gets to join? Are there invites?
