You wanted more Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep info? Here you go then. Famitsu has a huge feature on the Square Enix PSP game in their latest issue, covering stuff like characters and the new locations. Here’s the info translated by Gamertell.
Birth By Sleep will have three playable characters: Ventus, Terra, and Aqua. Each of them specialize in speed, power, and magic, respectively, and wield keychain-less Keyblades. They also have different scenarios, and while they will cross paths with each other at some points, they will be traveling alone for the most part.
The feature also had a little something on the two new locations that were revealed earlier: The Castle of Dreams, which features Cinderella, and Deep Space, which features Experiment 626, other wise known as Stitch. It looks like what happens in these worlds will be different depending on your choice of main character.
In the Castle of Dreams, players will try to help and make sure that Cinderella escapes her evil stepmother’s machinations and, uh, have a happy ending (couldn’t resist, sorry) with Prince Charming. Players will relive a few scenarios from the movie, such as the one where Cinderella is locked in her bedroom when Prince Charming comes looking for the owner of the glass slipper.
In the Deep Space world, players will interact with Stitch, Dr. Jumba, Gantu, and Sparky (Experiment 221). Yes, there’s a fight against Gantu as well as against Sparky. It seems the objective here is to keep Stitch from being captured.
An overseas release for Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep still hasn’t been given the go signal, but it seems pretty inevitable. Japan, on the other hand, will be getting the game this winter. Square Enix will also be bringing it to TGS. Check out these scans in the meantime.
