Koei announces release date for Fatal Inertia & Bladestorm
Eurogamers rejoice! We have some good news today in the form of new PS3 games that’ll be released this year. According to Koei, both Bladestorm: The Hundred Years’ War and Fatal Inertia will be released in Europe in Summer 2007. Koei’s development teams are currently tuning both these titles up until the release date comes to ensure the highest levels of quality possible.
With a powerful new game engine that allows gamers’ armies to collide in the battlefield at an unprecedented scale, Bladestorm brings the intensity and drama of a war-torn Medieval Europe to life. It also features a cast of legendary characters including Joan of Arc and Prince Edward.
Fatal Inertia is an intense mix of street racing, demolition derbies and rallying with a futuristic setting where the laws of physics govern all. With speed, technique, and customizability combined with the game’s physics engine and the PS3’s raw power, Fatal Inertia will bring players combat racing quite unlike anything they’ve ever seen before.
