Konami marketing VP believes MGS4 not Kojima’s last
Even though Metal Gear franchise creator Hideo Kojima has already said that Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots would be the last title in the series that he will be working on, a lot of people still believe otherwise.
In a recent interview with Next Generation, Konami Digital Entertainment’s new marketing vice president Anthony Crouts said that Kojima will always be involved in the Metal Gear franchise “in one capacity or another”. Said Crouts:
I’m sure he’s never going to let go of Metal Gear Solid—trust me. [Snake’s] a big character, so as a franchise I think he’ll always hold it near and dear to his heart.
Fans will remember that Kojima once said Metal Gear Solid 3 was going to be his last Metal Gear title.
