Konami to try to meet “unexpected” high MGS Portable Ops demand
How could Konami not have foreseen it? Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops is taking over the PSP market, and in just a little under a month since its December 21st release. Now, the publisher has conceded that there is indeed a delivery bottleneck for this game.
What is surprising, however, is their claim that there is an unexpectedly high demand. Operative term: unexpected. Boy, we all knew this was gonna be striking gold right from the start. The success of MGS: Portable Ops was anything but unexpected. Seriously, this title is a killer, and everybody knew it even before it came out.
Anyhow, now that Konami has come to terms with the painful truth that fans just aren’t getting enough of portable Snake, they are now trying to ship more copies by next week to cater to the demands. We’re counting on you, Kojima!
