Kororinpa confirmed for North America
All the rumors about Kororinpa turned out to be correct. And the confirmation was not done in a one-time big-time manner by Hudson Entertainment and Konami. Rather, it was a slow and dance-like maneuver to keep fans on their toes. First was its appearance on ESRB’s page.
Then there was the announcement for a European release. And The Land Down Under got a box shot image two days ago. Wii owners in North America need not worry though as Hudson just confirmed that Kororinpa is indeed headed here.
If you haven’t been paying attention to this game, it is actually a Marble Madness-type of game where players will use the Wiimote to gyrate the surface of the playing area to guide a ball. Take note that this isn’t just your ordinary ball though.
There are several kinds: basketballs, watermelons, and animal-looking marbles. To make the game more exciting, each ball has a its own speed, weight, and bounce ratings. So you have to control each one differently. Lastly, Hudson deemed it necessary to rename Kororinpa to Kororinpa: Marble Mania. It is expected to hit retail stores this coming Spring.
