L.A. Rush: Zipping to stores today

LA Rush

For the guys who loved the original L.A. Rush arcade version, hated the PS2 port, and are probably awaiting news for the PSP version that Midway said was arriving this month, we got something that should rev you up: It’s here. With nary any news since they released the game trailer, Midway has just announced that they’ve unlocked the handbrake on this awaited title, so expect to find a copy of this game racing to your local retail store within two to three days.

For those still unsure of what this game’s about, L.A. Rush is a stunt car game that puts you behind the wheels of one of 50 different cars as you and your friend tear through L.A.’s backstreets either online, or the game’s story mode – think “Dukes of Hazard” meets Tony Hawk, meets Need for Speed. Like we said, keep your fingers crossed as it lands in your local dealership.
