Lair, Heavenly Sword due for UK in May? UPDATE
Nevermind the fact the the UK is home to the world’s most expensive PlayStation 3s. There’s some good news for the British fans revealed by the UK PlayStation website coming in the form of two big releases.
Heavenly Sword and Lair are slated to come out in May. That’s earlier than expected and it brings a renewed excitement to the platform. The word is that if the two titles do well in the country, they may also hit North America at earlier dates.
Heavenly Sword is an epic adventure featuring smooth graphics and excellent combat in demos shown earlier in expos. Lair, on the other hand, is an apocalypse-themed game where you ride a dragon that flies, breathes fire, smashes and outright abuses enemies to bring peace to the world. Hey, the only way to really have peace is to bury the enemy, right?
We’re hoping to play the two exciting titles soon here in the States. We know they won’t disappoint.
UPDATE: Eurogamer has posted an article regarding the same topic and according to them, they called a Sony spokesperson who said the report is untrue. The games, according to the Sony rep, are scheduled for 2007 releases but are definitely not slated for May.
