Latest gameplay videos for Sonic and the Secret Rings

With the release of Sonic and the Secret Rings for the Wii getting so very close, Sega‘s ultra-fast, blue furball is now gearing up for his debut on Nintendo‘s next-gen console. So, just to show everyone that the old hedgehog has got some new tricks up his sleeve, three new gameplay videos have been released. Two of the videos feature stages within the game and show Sonic as he races through each one. The third video, however, shows one of the mini-games available which involves four characters, umbrellas, and a lot of clouds.

Scheduled to reach North American stores by February 20, this title will find Sonic within the pages of the classic book One Thousand and One Nights. There, he must battle against the evil spirit Erazor Djinn, who is absorbing the power of the book, and causing the pages and the stories within to disappear. However, how well Sonic will survive the stories of “Sinbad the Sailor” and “Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves” will depend entirely on the player.
