Like we said before, Blue Dragon is a game that promises a lot for Xbox 360 players not only because Akira Toriyama (designer of Dragon Ball Z) and Nobuo Uematsu (composer for Final Fantasy) worked on this title, but also because there are a lot of great features in the game, making this one of the most anticipated RPGs for the Xbox 360. This game was developed by Mistwalker and Artoon Co. Ltd.

We’ve already told you about the role of phantom shadows in the game – these shadows are controlled by Shu, the central character of the game, and by his friends. Shadows become the group’s weapon in their battle against their enemy Nene and against other people who also have magical powers.

This RPG has innovative gameplay features. Warriors can make their own attack methods by using several types of Shadow Change. Players can also choose to have their characters in the game focus on improving skills on a certain area of expertise. With every battle the characters are in, the shadows level up and new abilities are added to the characters.

The stunning graphics is perhaps one of the great advantages of this game over other RPGs as the game will use the full potential of the 360 to show color and amazing details of the characters and of the environment. The game will have the characters in different sites showing remnants of ancient civilizations long forgotten.

The anime-styled characters of the game is very evident of Akira Toriyama’s influence in the game design. Blur effects are added to enhance the actions of the characters. The game’s algorithmic animation system adds realism to the characters and to their movements.
