Latest Patch For “Saga of Ryzom” Coming In
A new patch for Saga of Ryzom was due to be released Thursday, 6 July, but apparently has been delayed. It may be ready for download from the game’s official web site later today or tomorrow, Saturday, July 8.
The new patch addresses a minor issue regarding the Outpost amplifiers effect. This was accidentally reduced in the last patch that came out in June. The success rate should be returned to 20%. In addition, the Javing population will be increased in the Ruins of Silan, and some text mistakes in the three languages should be corrected. The “mission code” bug has also been addressed, and the developers have reworked the domino effect fix (the one applied in the last patch was a temporary jury-rig).
SoR is published by the French company Neverax, and is unique in that players have a great deal of creative input, creating their own scenarios, quests and content with a tool called the “Ryzom Ring.”
