Left 4 Dead coming to PS3? Valve finds it funny

There have been rumors going around that Left 4 Dead, a shooter from Valve that’s only out for the Xbox 360 and the PC, is coming to the PS3. I checked it out and I couldn’t believe it, in fact, I had to double check everything we had on the Valve title just to make sure I wasn’t seeing things. What did Valve have to say about it? Actually, here’s a link to HMV, where you can pre-order Left 4 Dead for the PS3 with a June 5 release date. I couldn’t believe it, in fact, I had to double check everything we had on the Valve title just to make sure I wasn’t seeing things.

A Valve rep, however, mocked that listing, saying, “Fantastic. I can’t wait to see it.” That wasn’t Gabe Newell who said that, by the way. I’m a bit surprised that the #1 PS3 hater at Valve didn’t have anything to say against the console. Well, I guess it’s better that it stays that way.

Oh well. True or not, we’ll see in the coming months.
