Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess spotted… on eBay?

The first reaction that came to mind upon seeing a copy of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess up on eBay was “Already??” And on top of that, this seller has TWO copies of the game for sale! In any case, the receipt which he/she shows in the photographs shows that the games were bought from Best Buy on November 15 (or so we think… it’s a bit blurry in the photo).

Upon checking the Best Buy website, we noted that there was already a line there which says “DVD-ROM Release Date: 11/15/2006”. Hmm… we’re not quite sure why this seller has decided to splurge on copies of this game. Expecting a shortage perhaps? We also did a quick search on eBay and noticed that this person isn’t alone and other sellers have also put up copies of the game for auction. So could this be the beginning of a whole deluge of Wii games on auction sites?

In any case, not that we’re against this sort of thing (hey, everyone needs to make a living). But just to be on the safe side, perhaps it may be best to be a bit more patient and just wait for the game (or other Wii games, for that matter) to be released at your nearest store instead. It isn’t THAT long anymore anyway.

A big “thanks” goes out to RabbitMan for the heads up!
