LEGO Indiana Jones will not feature four-player co-op

Four player co-op in Lego Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures (PS3, PSP, Wii, DS, Xbox 360, PC). Sounds pretty sweet right? Too bad it’s not going to happen. Much to the dismay of many gamers, LucasArts has announced that there was a miscommunication with regards to the presence of four player co-op in Lego Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures (PS3, PSP, Wii, DS, Xbox 360, PC).

Shawn Storc, the producer of Lego Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures, addressed the issue saying the game “will feature the user friendly drop-in/drop-out two-player cooperative feature that players have come to know and love.” Then he proceeded to drop the bomb:

However, we are not expanding this feature to a higher player count. I certainly do apologize for any confusion that has arisen; we must have been in a LEGO induced haze at the CollectorÂ’s Party.

So there you have it. No four-player multiplayer co-op in Lego Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures. While we’re a bit disappointed at this announcement, we’re still anxious to try this game out when it launches this June 3.
