PSP homebrew developer sakya dropped by the Qj Forums and brought news about a new version for LightMP3. It's now on version 1.1.0 and we're sure you'll like some of the tweaks he made on this new release.
For those who were not able to catch the first release of this homebrew app, here's a bit of a primer. LightMP3 is basically a MP3 player for the PSP that is low on resource and battery usage, allowing you to listen to music on your PSP for longer periods of time. Anyway, here are the changes for the new version:
- Added support for M3U file
- Added playlist browser
- Added playlist editor
- File browser now filters files, showing only mp3 and m3u.
- Added shuffle and repeat
- Added volume boost option
