LittleBigPlanet confirmed for October launch in Japan

We all heard SCEE say that Media Molecule‘s LittleBigPlanet will be released this fall. What they never talked about is when exactly. We finally got an answer, or at least part of it, from the Japanese PlayStation site. The user content-friendly platformer is coming late this October, but it may not necessarily be for you. Over at the LittleBigPlanet pages in the Japanese official PlayStation site, we saw a confirmation of the much-anticipated Media Molecule game. It’s set for an October 30 launch in the country.

There were no other details in the page. No release date confirmation for Europe and North America, of course.

Still, it’s a good indicator that LittleBigPlanet is finally good to go after a few delays. Right now, fall is looking pretty sweet for all of us PlayStation 3 owners.
