Media Molecule and Sony finally got their sackboy heads together and fixed their “moderating” procedures in LittleBigPlanet. Patch v1.0.6 now includes more detailed information on why a stage has been taken down, and will allow you to edit it online or offline.
Media Molecule and Sony finally got their sackboy heads together and fixed their “moderating” procedures in LittleBigPlanet. Until now, users have been pretty miffed that the stages that they crafted for hours were in danger of being deleted willy-nilly without explanation, or even a chance to correct the offending matter.
Patch v1.06 should now solve these issues, and sackboys are now allowed to roam free without fear of unraveling anymore. Here’s what’s being introduced in the patch:
- Moderated levels will now receive more detailed information once action has been taken
- The notification message will remain in place on screen, removing the chance that affected users miss the message
- Any moderated level can now be accessed for editing by the creator, whether online or offline
- Additional information is now displayed on the “Good Grief” screen advising users on how the grief reporting functions, and warns against making spurious reports
