People are buying LittleBigPlanet before its official release date? Gasp! Shock! Jealousy! One of Kotaku’s readers managed to snag an early copy from a Best Buy outlet. Props to the guy.

People are buying LittleBigPlanet before its official release date? Gasp! Shock! Jealousy!

One of Kotaku’s readers managed to snag an early copy from a Best Buy outlet. (Suddenly, a rush of tiny pattering Sackboy feet can be heard rushing out of Best Buy stores.) Props to the guy for finding an employee apathetic enough to not care about street dates.

Not that this is surprising. Street dates get broken all the time. When Metal Gear Solid 4 got leaked, Konami even admitted that these things are inevitable. Rock Band 2 already took it as a given and congratulated those who got a copy. Finding an early copy should become a trophy.
