And I thought LittleBigPlanet couldn’t get any cuter. The folks down at Media Molecule partnered up with the guys at Konami to bring us Metal Gear Solid, LittleBigPlanet style! Since their MGS pack is packing quite a punch, let’s take it one step at a time.

First off, the costume pack. The pack includes Solid Snake, Raiden, Meryl, Screaming Mantis, and even the Gurlokvich soldier. It’ll go for US$ 5.99 for the whole shebang, or you can pick and choose for US$ 1.99 each.

They will also be offering a new level pack, which will include 5 new Story Levels and a new Challenge Level. It will also come with the following:

  • 72 new stickers
  • 12 materials
  • 10 decorations
  • 18 objects
  • 1 new background music track
  • 3 new interactive music tracks
  • 1 new Metal Gear Solid themed ‘sound objectÂ’
  • New Plasma Ball ‘danger elementÂ’
  • New Laser Sight ‘gadgetÂ’
  • New functioning Searchlight lamp – for those special ‘exclamation markÂ’ moments
  • The Paintinator!

The Paintinator you say? What in the name of Hideo Kojima is a paintinator? Well why should I tell you what it is, when you can watch it in action yourself, in what is seriously the cutest vid I’ve seen from LBP yet:

The pack will come with 12 new trophies, and will go for US$ 5.99. If you’re too cheap to cough up the cash, you can still play the MGS story levels by joining a “host” who owns the pack. You won’t be able to use the objects for yourself, but at least you can play the levels. So when will all of these be released? Mark your calendars: December 23.
