Locura Personal Media Server to be released in April.
Many in the PSP community have requested a way to run a web server to quickly download music and videos from a PC directly to the PSP. Past methods have involved some complicated server setup, but with Locura Personal Media Server it is a simple, one step procedure: install and run. Here’s the key features that there personal media server offers:
- Browse your entire video collection! Download your videos wirelessly with a simple click.
- View your audio folders and create auto-updating streaming music feeds on the fly.
- Browse your dynamically re-sized pictures from your favorite hot-spot or anywhere you can connect to the internet.
- Access all your media from a standard browser such as Microsoft Internet Explorer® or Firefox® (no PSP™ required!)
- Change the look of your media pages with built-in themes or create your own!
- If you have a background in HTML and Visual Basic, you can make more advanced page changes.
The Locura Personal Media Server will be available in April for a price of $30 for single user and $50 for an entire family licence and will require a PC running Windows 2000, 2003 or XP, other platforms may become available in the future though so here’s hoping for a mac version.
