Locust- and Chimera-free: Frontlines: Fuel of War screens move in
We thought it was left in the dust and all. But guess what decided, after quite some time of dead silence, to surface once again? Frontlines: Fuel of War (PS3, 360, and PC) is still very much alive, and we’re thinking just one word: Shellshock. That’s pertaining to the effect of what these new screen could do.
Now before we reveal the screens, time for a bit of a refresher course. What we do know about this new THQ game is that it’s slated for a release later this year. It’s using the Unreal Engine 3 (oh joy!) and will have you pitted in the middle of vicious global warfare over oil. The story is set some 20-odd years into the future, when the Western Coalition (U.S./NATO) wages a battle with the Red Star Alliance (Russia/China).
There are no Locust hordes nor Chimera threats here, but still, set in the future, it’s very much a sci-fi game in essence. Check out all the technology and hi-tech military weapons. Look at the pictures… There’s a mini-helicopter drone there! Nice…
