Longer Wait for Final Fantasy XI: The Treasures of Aht Urhgan
You’ve been counting the days ever since Square Enix announced April 18 as the release date of the much anticipated Final Fantasy XI expansion pack, The Treasures of Aht Urhgan. Well, the wait is almost over, you’re only a few days away from running down to your favorite shop to grab a copy of the expansion pack. But I’ve got news for you. Although you can buy the game on the 18th, you won’t be able to play it until April 20. The extra two days of torture for North American gamers is Square Enix’s idea of leveling the playing field, that is it won’t be starting the service for the game until Europe and Japan get their copies on the 20th. Why didn’t Square Enix just made it a simultaneous worldwide release instead?
The expansion pack includes the new Blue Mage job class, new monsters and realms, as well as minor changes to the gameplay.
