Looking good: a Lost Odyssey demo video
Don’t you wish you could download Japanese demos direct from Xbox Live without needing multiple gamertags? Well, we do, but we’re not going to worry about it. Mostly because we’ve got plenty of time to wait. A thousand years, in fact.
Oh wait. Sorry, that’s the people in the game and not us. Nevermind.
So what’s up today? A demo walkthrough video for Lost Odyssey. If you haven’t noticed yet, this game is made by Mistwalker, and that means the combined forces of Hironobu Sakaguchi and Nobuo Uematsu of Final Fantasy fame. Final Fantasy fans will probably be hyped up for this release when it comes out for the Xbox 360, so many people are hoping it lives up to gamers’ expectations.
Other than that, there’s some serious gameplay action going on. From this vid though, the demo needs some polishing in some of the battle animations before it can be ready for store shelves, but otherwise, it’s a nice looking teaser. We only wish it was easier to tell apart the difference between the male protagonist and the female one when the game comes out, but that’s a minor gripe.
As with certain types of videos, this one might need a codec that your computer doesn’t have. Just check the source, and there should be a download for it, or look for a WMV3 codec to suit your purposes. Enjoy!
