Lord of the Rings Online head to head with World of Warcraft
It is obvious that World of Warcraft is one of the premier MMORPGs out in the market today. It has garnered a large following and is still making waves with the release of WoW:Burning Crusade. However, since the NDA (non-disclosure agreement) was lifted last Feb.12, 2007, Lord of the Rings Online which is being developed by Turbine Software has been creating massive waves among the gaming community. From all reports, LotRO plays just like WoW. However, we can’t just dismiss it as a WoW clone. The backstory on Lord of the Rings is considered by some to be just as good if not better than WoW. This opens up a myriad of gaming possibilities.
While some will tout LotRO as a WoW killer, others believe that this will not be the case. It will be great to have a choice of what to play not to mention to be able to switch games just in case one or the other is getting a bit routine. Choose one or the other, maybe both, happy gaming.
